Habitat

Spring Break 2008

UMM Habitat for Humanity takes a yearly trip over spring break to help build in another area of the US. Spring break will be the week of March 17-21 this year. The list of collegiate challenge sites is up so you can browse through them here. These sites require approximately $50-150 per person on top of transportation.

The program that we went through last year is the Gulf Recovery Effort. This program's purpose is to help rebuild areas on the gulf that were affected by hurricanes Rita and Katrina. These often have less accomodations, but for the most part only require us to pay for our way down there. These sites are listed here.

Pictures from past years trips are posted on this site for you to look at and get a feel for what happens on a trip.
